Day 1&2 at Sydney

Nothing much happened. When I reached Sherlyn’s house, the first thing I do was eat my lunch then straightaway to bed. I was too tired during the flight as I did not get to sleep properly at all.
Sherlyn’s mom said we’re going out at 3 PM. So I woke up at 2 to get ready. We’re actually going to a place called Sydney Olympic Park. Cool place, lots of wind, very cold but we’re not there for vacation. We were there for Hillsong Conference. For those who have no idea what Hillsong conference is, it is actually a conference, held by Hillsong Church to worship Jesus and God.
It started off with some songs, everybody sang together and worship then donate money. Then listen to some speakers talk about God. Then it ended with some songs again.
The first speaker was Joseph Prince from Singapore(I think). Well, for a free thinker like me, what I hear is rubbish. I’m not saying he’s feeding us with rubbish, I’m saying I don’t understand a shit he’s talking about.
The second speaker was Joyce Mayer(not sure if it’s spelled like that). She’s good, I like her speech, not too biblic, just nice for us free thinkers to understand.
Everything was professionally conducted. The hall, the projector(is that a High Definition projector because the pictures are so damn clear), the sound system, EVERYTHING! Totally unlike Boleh-land. Mind you, even the workers there were excellent, they greet you like they know you! Seriously, they go like “have a nice day mate”, “have fun”, they tell you where to go without you asking them also sometimes, it’s just so pleasant.
Here’s a question. How long is 30 minutes when you’re queuing/waiting?
If you answered 30 minutes or longer, you’re wrong. When we were queuing for entry to the conference, they got this volunteer that stands at the stage to sing for everybody. So queuing is like not queuing at all. Wonderful huh?
Here are a few pictures I took when we were at the Olympic Park.

When we were walking to the Hillsong conference hall. If you stare down the road you can see Sherlyn and the family walking away.

The conference hall. Looks like a concert huh? This beats Jolin Tsai’s concert man. Justin Timberlake’s concert is a shame when compared to this.
Day 2 at Sydney, Thursday.
Damn I woke up at 1:40PM Sydney time yesterday. Do nothing until 6PM then we went to Olympic Park again. Yesterday night Joseph Price talked again, and I don’t have a damn idea what kind of crap he’s talking about, it’s too biblic. Seriously, after that conference I asked Cher(my sweet cousin), then I only get what Joseph Prince was talking about after she explained to me. My mom asked me to go to the conference next year(full time), and guess what, I’ve made up my mind. I AM NOT GOING! Case closed, I’m not going fulltime.
After the conference we went to Chinatown. We went to a shop called “SuperBowl”. 5 of us ate about 47AUD. Damn, if you convert that to Malaysian Ringgit, that is about RM 150. It is so not worth it. We only ordered a bowl of porridge, two pieces of “Yao Char Kuay”, a plate of fried rice and a plate of “pai kut” (These are all one person’s size). Oh and you know how much is a piece of “Yao Char Kuay”? AUD 2.80, and it’s not even have the same feel I ate at home! Nevertheless, the food there was quite nice, all cooked differently. Unlike in Boleh-land, all the same.
That’s me taking a picture at the street. Bah I have no idea which street is that. But Superbowl is located right in it.

The shop’s logo. Why does it write 别不同(bie2 bu4 tong2)? Nice combination of colour though.
We went to a place that has an excellent view of Sydney city area. Here’s the picture. It’s a bit blurred though. My aunt said here’s the best place to watch fireworks during New Year. Huhu, I’m not going back this December!

That is the Harbour Bridge? I can see the Opera House.
I’m wearing nearly as thick as an eskimo now. It’s so cold at night I’ve got to use a glove to use the computer. Stupid huh?
Hope you all enjoyed reading.
