How To Cure Insomnia And Sleep Well

Do you always have sleepless nights? Do you experience a rush of thoughts moment your back touches the bed? Do you always have a feeling that you’re not going to fall asleep easily? These are all symptoms of Insomnia. Here’s the last question, do you want to cure Insomnia?

If you answered yes to all these questions above, continue reading. If not, you could be well off reading other posts instead.

Insomnia affects 1 out of 3 people every year, usually caused by depression, anxiety, stress and so on. As a student, I experience insomnia as well, even during my semester holidays (when I had the least stress). In fact, I always have sleepless night when I’m not active during the day.

So back in Malaysia, I’ve listened to advices and tried a few things methods, some worked and some didn’t, some I can’t be bothered to try. So here’s a few ways I think answers the “how to cure insomnia” question.

Ways To Cure Insomnia #1 : Exercise *Free

Effective: Majority of Us
Not Effective: Busy People, Some People

I have discovered that when your body is physically worn out, it is much easier to fall asleep. Take note that I am not saying mentally tired. Physically worn out means playing your favourite sport until you have enough of it for the day.

Subconsciously, your mental power becomes weak when you’re physically tired. Stressful thoughts will come into your mind, but because you brain can’t think anymore, you get to sleep easier.

Why I say this is not for busy people and some girls. Well, busy people out there, I’m sorry you will just have to read further down because I highly doubt you can exercise when you are too busy with something else. As for the minority of mankind, sweating is not a very bad thing. Learn to exercise and get sweaty before your health limits you to exercising.

Ways To Cure Insomnia #2 : Finger Technique *Free

Effective: All of us
Not Effective: Nobody

We usually can’t sleep because we let our mind run free or we kept worrying about something when we try to sleep. Either way, the longer we stay in this situation, the more worried we are, the harder to try to sleep.

So what we should do is to concentrate our mind at doing something. I call it a waste of concentration (mental power).

The method to waste mental power? My dad taught me this and surprisingly it’s easy, no big actions and works every time. I’m too lazy so I made a video instead.

So what you do is before you sleep, do 15 sequences with both hands. Usually I’d do until 10 then sleepiness kicks in then I’m ready to sleep.

Ways To Cure Insomnia #3 : Have a Positive Mind *Free

Effective: All of us
Not Effective: People who can’t control their brain.

The reason why most of us are struggling to sleep is because we think we will struggle to sleep, or we think we won’t be able to sleep tonight. Primarily proven by a book my friend recommended me to read, “The Secret”, what you think is what you get.

What I would suggest you to do is, be optimistic (not pessimistic). Have similar thoughts like “the bed is comfortable and I can sleep” and exclude similar thoughts like “I will have trouble sleeping tonight”.

So start to take control of your mind now and change the way you think. Sooner or later you will discover yourself getting asleep faster than you can ever imagine.

Ways To Cure Insomnia #4 : Scalar Energy Pendant

Effective: All of us
Not Effective: Nobody

Scalar Energy Pendant

Alright, I must first warn that this sounds a little superstitious and too good to be true. Even for me at first, but after trying the pendant, I actually slept like a pig anywhere I go. My family members and a friend reported that they had good night sleeps with the pendant as well. Thanks to my mom who is a nurse and is extremely health conscious.

I’m not a good believer of superstitious things, especially a round shaped stone. But with all the positive feedback from friends and family, I can’t help but believe this thing works.

In fact, I’ve also heard that the pendant cures diseases such as cancer, enhances body immune system and etc. I have yet to experience these diseases before so I wouldn’t go too much into that. What I can only say is it helps me in my sleeps and I’m contented with it. Cures diseases or enhances immune system or not, I think it’s better to believe than not, like what I have talked about in #3.

This pendant is not cheap either. My mom bought it for about RM 563 (about 160 USD) in Malaysia, I have no idea about other countries though. But if you’re interested I don’t mind asking my mom to deal with you.

In a Nutshell

Nobody likes to lie on the bed not being able to sleep. But do try out some of these methods I written above and report back to me. I’d like to know if they are workable to everybody or not. Happy Sleeping.

Great ideas, the energy pendant sounds really cool. Other free remedies to try – yoga, meditation, listening to relaxing music, getting into a bedtime routine, cutting down on caffeine.

I guess I’ve had this problem… Insomnia… it is currently 5:27 am in the USA… and I am currently watching the Formula 1 practice at Monoco! But… I’ve been having problems not being able to get sleep

I guess one of the problems.. when I try to fall asleep, I guess my mind just ponders.. and starts thinking, I guess when I am stressed out, about work, and what not, and having back thoughts in mind that I need to get things done… that really ruins my sleeping for me.

I say.. whenever I am more “relaxed” and I am not stressed out I definitely sleep easier.

Joey, yeap, the first step to solving a problem is first to admit the problem. Realizing that there’s a problem helps fix things up easier and faster.

Pick up any one of the three free insomnia curing ways to help out. Do report back if it works (or not).

Anyways, to update this post. Here’s an upgrade to the finger method. Instead of doing what you have seen in the video syncing with both hands. Do it with both hands, but one of your hand must be a count slower than the other, eg. left hand is a count slower than your right hand.

Sounds extremely hard to do but it’s possible. Not only it helps you sleep better at night but it also helps training you to use both of your brains.

Its amazing how much America is sleep deprived. America is the most sleep deprived nation in the world. Can you believe that we beat out Japan! Its absolutely necessary to get the right amount of exercise and I completely agree with you! Its just good for you all around. As for the pendant… idk I will have to try it out for myself!
