One of my dream to achieve while I am still breathing is to build a company that owns at least one pool center. I myself is an avid player of pool game. But like many people I am mostly exposed to pub sized pool table, which is not the standard table they used in tournaments.
I want my future pool center to have the right table size available so that players actually learn the proper pool game regardless of they are a beginner or a pro. I am looking at about 20 tables (might change) to start my business.
So my Questions …
- What’s the right size of a standard pool table used in tournaments?
- Does a curved cue affect your pool experience?
- How long should I change the cue tip?
- If I were to start with 20 tables, how big an area should I have?
- How about table lighting?
- You might also want to add some input about how other pool centers are maintained …
- Is there anything else I should pay my attention to?

So … It would be great if any of you who visits ahwee.com could help me out a bit with these questions. Your input will be much much appreciated!
I am very positive that within the next few months/years, I will be able to open one. Location and time are yet to be specified, it will be dependent on where I can get the funds and deals. I will definitely announce it when everything is final.
As this is still in the planning stage, I would update this page as often as possible.
