As a university graduate myself, I always wonder why my tuition fee was so expensive. Especially when I studied overseas where every dollar I spent was equivalent to 3 dollars back in my home country. Also, there is this saying, “you use only about 5% of what you learn at university” which gets everyone with a right mind thinking, why attend university at all if you don’t apply the things you have learnt?

The mainstream media have got most of us into this fairytale story telling us that if we do not graduate with at least a degree, we do not get a job. Well, that is just one side of the story that appeals to only the employers, not the students.

Here are why our university and college education do not appeal to you students and is definitely not worth your parents’ hard earned money.

University Education is Nothing near Advanced Technologically

If you plan to take engineering and hope to get hands-on experience with high-end manufacturing machines. Think again, you might want to double your tuition fees to take up postgraduate studies instead.

If you plan to take commerce with the hope to graduate with all the skills needed to success in trading and investment, you will fail miserably because in university they teach you nothing about diversifying your portfolio. They teach you to diversify your portfolio in stocks, which makes you a loser every time the market crashes.

If you plan to take IT courses, prepare to meet lecturers who have no idea what they are teaching.

If you plan to take law and medicine, you graduate working your heads off with companies that pays you dirt.

Either way, by the time you graduate, all the things you have learnt is outdated and you will have to re-learn everything when you join a corporation.

It’s All About Business Mate

Very few universities actually promote real, practical, hands-on education. Education is now an industry, your vice-chancellors care not about your welfare as a student. Even if you’re excellent in your studies at postgraduate level, they hire you just to keep you as a tutor and pay you enough (you don’t want to be earning only enough your entire life) so that you can produce more papers to promote the university. Yay free advertisement.

Highest Inflation on Your Tuition Fees

Believe it or not, the inflation in the university and college education sector is one of the most inflated industries in the world. I did a search while I was surfing around the other day and found this.

I then checked this graph with the CPI index of Australia and learnt that the inflation in education even higher than the inflation in healthcare! So I have come to a conclusion that this graph represents most of the universities and colleges around the world. So much for the importance of tertiary education.

Do you know that the money I spent studying in Australia can be used as a down payment for about 3 houses back in my hometown. Can I buy 3 houses in the next 4 years as a university graduate working for companies that pays me dirt? Very unlikely.

The Ever Growing World Wide Web

Every second, data as big as the Library of Congress is transmitted over the internet. You can imagine the whole library swooshing around the world in the network cable. Almost everything you need to know is available on the internet. In fact, most of the assignment given to you in university or college requires the use of the internet to complete them.

Why would you still need to pay a huge sum of money to the education institutes to tell you things that can be easily searched from the internet for free?

What Can We Do About This?

I guess we could form a union and go on a strike on hopes that the universities will reduce the tuition fees, which sounds extremely impractical and dangerous. On top of that, going on a strike is also something done by a person who has no control over anything; to simply put it, a university graduate who is being kicked around in the society.

So what are our options?

A few months ago, I met up with a friend called Fred at a cafe. Fred was complaining about his expensive tuition fees, he said that he should have taken his friend’s suggestion before he entered college.

His friend’s suggestion was this. Instead of paying a lump sum of your university savings to people who teaches you a lot of impractical crap, spend those money on your first few businesses and professional courses.

US’s average annual tuition fee is about 25,000 USD, a university course is usually 3 to 4 years depending on which degree you are taking. Fred’s friend suggested that you spend 20,000 USD on a new business and spend the rest attending courses that will enhance your professional skills.

Most of the time, your first business will fail. But keep in mind that you have 2 more years of savings to work on and usually you learn a tonne after your first business failure. Pool them together with the knowledge you gain from the professional courses you attend, I am sure your second and third (if not your fourth) business will be a success. That is when you will have control over your life.

Please bear in mind that I am not exactly advocating these kind of ideas. However, I believe it is something worth trying out if the universities and colleges keep on jacking up their education fees.

As a person who has searched your way to this article, I am pretty sure you are somebody who have either attended the Millionaire Mind Intensive (MMI) course or have agreed to join the 3 day exciting event created by T. Harv Eker. If you are the latter, prepare yourself for a treat from this article and from the course.

The Irrelevant Matters

Before I continue, let us talk a bit on the credibility of my information. Early this year, I attended the MMI seminar (and possibly have discovered enlightenment) myself and just a few weeks ago, I crewed for the MMI seminar in Australia. As a crew member I have talked to many participants and usually it goes like this the first day; they whine about the information to be “common sense” for most business practices. However, at the end of the third day, the majority of them find the seminar to be an eye opener and is worth the weekend.

To judge the seminar from a participant and a crew member’s perspective, I would say that it is a seminar to sell their products. But do not let this concern you at all, there are a few interesting activities that is definitely worth the 3 days of your weekend. So, I will leave it to you to judge whether the information provided in this article is credit enough or not. Right, so what are you expecting from the seminar?

To quickly go through the unimportant matters, it is a 3 days seminar, it starts early at 9 AM in the morning and ends at about 10 PM at might (yes, about 12 hours).

Day 1 of the seminar is pretty straightforward, Harv will talk about being mindful about your own money and how to keep part of what you earn to yourself. He will sell you products which do just that, they will definitely be sold out (trust me on that).

Day 2 of the seminar starts off to be extremely sleepy (you will know it when you get there). However, the night will be pretty interesting. Harv talks about ruling your money and not let your money rule you, there’s an activity that trains you to do just that.

Day 3 is the most interesting and will be the most important day of the seminar. Do not miss the third day no matter what. The theme on the third day is to believe in yourself, there is also an unbelievable activity to train you to do so. I will not disclose the activity but just pull yourself together to do it.

The Important Matters

As you can see, I am quickly going through the seminar schedules. This is because those are all the things you have to find out yourselves at the seminar. The important part of the seminar is T. Harv Eker’s marketing strategy, I repeat, T.Harv Eker’s marketing strategy.

Harv has polished his ability to successfully persuade the majority of his targeted customers to buy his products and courses. If he wants you to buy it, you will buy it if you have the credit. To simply illustrate his marketing strategy, he creates urgency upon his participants and have them buy their product because they do not want to be left out.

Throughout the MMI course, Harv sells 2 types of things, products and courses. In both the MMI seminar I went to, he sells the products first (which are limited) and they are usually sold out. Products are unimportant, the important ones are the courses such as Quantum Leap which costs about ten thousand AU dollars. Harv will make it sound like the courses will be limited in seats (which is partly true). However, don’t be fooled by that because the crews are told to sell as many courses as possible.

Sometimes Harv will give ridiculously low seminar prices that only valid for the first 25 applicants. But if you think about it, how would the sales person know which 25 applicants comes first? The system is not computerized, there will be at least 15 salesperson around the sales booths, there are more than a hundred application forms that writes the discounted price, there is no way the low seminar prices are only valid for 25 peoples.

To back on that statement, I have even asked the boss (I will not mention the name) to give me seminar prices after the seminar because I need some time to think about joining the Quantum Leap program. The boss agrees and gave me a number to contact if I have made up my mind.

Now the reason I am writing this article is to inform you that during the course of the seminar, you will be placed under Harv Eker’s superb marketing “spell”. So you have to take control of yourself before getting yourself into too much debt. Bear in mind that even after you finish all the courses in the Quantum Leap program, there is no guarantee that you will be a millionaire a few weeks after.

So, that is why I want you think twice before rushing yourself into a course. I have not attended the Quantum Leap program yet, but I talked to the boss and the boss said that they will be selling more things (I have no idea what) as well in the courses you spent thousands to attend. I believe it is wise to at least have your money ready to pounce on the opportunities offered in those courses.

Nevertheless, do go to the seminar, get yourself equipped with more information and do what’s best for your future.

Oh, do you know that Harv gave out free MMI tickets every MMI seminar? If you have somebody who went and bought the book, get the free MMI ticket from them.

I am sure a lot of you out there have heard countless complaints on Nuffnang not paying their publishers. I myself have even seen a screenshot of 15 thousand Malaysian Ringgits still lingering in the publisher’s account not being paid. How true are those? Does Nuffnang pay their publishers?

Please keep in mind that I am not here to prove any of those complaints you have read wrong nor I am here to promote Nuffnang. This article has two aims, the first would be to Nuffnang Australia as a thank you for paying me and no thanks for the late payment.

My Experience with Nuffnang Australia

On 20th of April, a mail was sent to my inbox congratulating me of my first Nuffnang Advertising Campaign by ANZ bank. It was a six weeks campaign and it ended at 30th of May. While I was checking out, the customer service was quite helpful, it sorted out my payment issues (long story) but it took some time.

After that I had successfully cashed out the money from my Nuffnang account. The status was pending and I did not expect to be paid anytime during May. And of course, it did not happen.

On June, I gave up checking on the pending status until a week ago (26th August) where I noticed the pending status was changed to “sent”. I immediately sent a support ticket half expecting a reply from Nuffnang.

Living to Nuffnang’s reputation for being slow, I did not get any replies for a week until 31st of August. David replied this time and explained that the cheque has been sent on 20th June, I did not receive any mails though. So after 3 emails with David, he cancelled the cheque and confirmed that he had sent the money to me through bank transfer.

My Point of View on Nuffnang Australia

As you can see from my experience above, Nuffnang do pay their publishers, just extremely a bit late. Still, better late than never, at least now I am paid and my hosting and domain expenses are covered by my own website’s revenue.

Also, for Australians dealing with Nuffnang Aus, also make sure you are dealing with the correct person. I have actually sent countless messages before to a different person (not David) but most of the time, there were no results. David on the other hand produces results. Look how long does it take for David to sort out my payment, 2 days.

On top of that, the same person, David also settled my featured blogger of the month in Nuffnang Australia.

How can Nuffnang Australia Improve?

Obviously, there is a lot of room for improvement for Nuffnang Australia. Here are a few suggestions to start with.

Constant Feedback
Customers want constant feedback from the company, a week of ignorance (especially on payment) is a big no.

Train Incompetent Employees
David is a good example of a competent employee, the previous person (which I will not mention the name) needs some serious training.

Pay Publishers on Time
Nobody likes being paid late and publishers are like the employee of Nuffnang. The last thing a successful company wants is the inability to pay their employees at the end of the month.

Reply Support Tickets at Least Once Twice Day
I check my email at least 10 times a day, my webhost (serverfreak) replies my email in less than 2 hours most of the time, my friends replies my email at least once a day. I don’t see any reason why a company like Nuffnang could not check and reply support tickets at least twice a day.

Of course, Nuffnang cannot change overnight and my suggestions would not necessary help at all. But one thing is for certain, it is faster to be a globally recognized advertising company if publishers are treated well.

So … Rumours? Is Nuffnang Trustable?

So what about the complaints on the internet regarding Nuffnang not paying publishers? Like I said earlier, I am in no position to deny that statement as other people have different experiences with Nuffnang.

However, do bear in mind that there might be a possibility that I was paid because my payment was small. While payments like the 15 thousand in the first paragraph are not paid at all.

Or perhaps it is some rumours other companies made to defame Nuffnang? You make the call.

To end this article, I have mentioned earlier that this article have two aims. The second aim would be to shed light to Australian bloggers that at least Nuffnang Australia still pays their publishers even though it might take a while to do so.

I can only comment on the effectiveness of Nuffnang Australia because I have personally dealt with them. For other countries such as Malaysia, Singapore or The Phillipines, I pray good luck to all of you.

I know all these hype about Three introducing iPhones have already died off. But here is a little enlightenment for those who still has a little faith in Three. Wholla! Three brought in iPhones for their mobile cap plans!

<!--
What’s better? Three does not only rack in all the old iPhone 3G, they racked in the new iPhone 3G(S) as well! This is extremely good news for those who are still in a cap plan that is going to end very soon!

Here is a little info about their cap plans for the iPhone 3G(S) (Taken from Three website)

Cap Plans

Included Data

16GB

32GB

$39

150MB

$10

$14

$49

250MB

$5

$10

$79

1GB

FREE

$5

Works

3GB

FREE

$5

As usual the table means the $39 cap plan would require you to pay additional $10/mo if you want the 16GB iPhone (total $49/mo) and additional $14/mo if you want the 32GB iPhone (total $53/mo).

This is by far the cheapest iPhone you can find in Australia. The cheapest one was from Optus which only gives you $50 credit, which doesn’t make any sense at all since it is so little.

However, cheap comes with a huge price tag if you surf too much internet with your iPhone. 150MB and 250MB (from my point of view) is not enough at all. It is still however, more than what Optus offered a year ago.

It took 1 exact year for Three to introduce their “cheapest” iPhone. This smells like corporate game to me.

Anyways, visit Three iPhone Website for more info about their cap plans.

The Formula 1 race started in Albert Park, Melbourne, Australia 2009 with the KERS drivers doing all the actions.
The Ferraris started the race with super soft, coupled with KERS system, quickly got up to 3rd and 5th place for Massa and Raikkonen.
Rubens Barrichello had an awful start due the anti stall kicked in at the start of the race. Rubens also caused trouble in the first corner knocking the Australian driver, Webber that resulted an accident with Heidfeld and Kovaleinen’s retirement in lap 2.

Button got the perfect start of the race, securing his line to the first corner. At the end of lap 3, button is already 4 seconds faster than second runner Sebastian Vettel. In the mean time, Hamilton in the super soft used his KERS effectively at the back end of the race.

In lap 10, Kimi Raikkonen lost 2 places to Rosberg and Rubens in lap 10 due to the super soft tyres graining very badly. Apparently, the super soft tyres were bad choice made by the teams, so the Ferraris and Mclaren had to come in a few laps earlier just to change their grained tyres.

Nico Rosberg’s plan to pass the Ferrari was compromised as he was delayed in the pits in lap 16. Both Massa and Kimi passed him as he comes out of the pits.

Nakajima spun in between turn 3 and 4 on lap 17. Jenson Button from Brawn GP went into the pits as soon as he gets the news and surprisingly the safety car comes out only after Button leaves the pit.

As the race restarted, everybody tackled first corner cautiously except for young Piquet who spun off the racetrack due to the cold tyres. Massa were unable to overtake Sebastian Vettel for P2 as Lewis Hamilton went up to P11 pushing Timo Glock back with his KERS. Jenson Button lose all his built-up lead to Vettel.

At lap 34 Kubica is chasing down Vettel but unfortunately was unable to overtake the charging Red Bull and went into pits at lap 39. Raikkonen also went into the pits at lap 39.

At the closing stages of the race, Hamilton went into pits at Lap 44 and came out right in front of Massa. Massa was unable to follow him while Kimi Raikkonen spun at lap 45 and recovered without any damage. On lap 47, Massa Slowed down and retired.

Button’s pitstop at lap 47 was awful as the main fuel hose failed. Ross Brawn commented that the Brawn GP guys were just taking it easy. He did not lose his position but Vettel was just right behind him.

At lap 52, Rubens Barrichello entered the pits from P3 place dropping to P5, this allowed kubica to chase up with Button and Vettel.

Nico Rosberg is struggling for pace and lost his place to Barrichello who has a less bumpy road on his side of the track. Trulli also passed Nico Rosberg at Lap 54. After awhile Hamilton overtook him again, Nico Rosberg was struggling with his graining soft tyre.

With just 2 lap remaining, Sebastian vettel went too deep and was aligned by Robert Kubica. They bumped and both of them crashed into separate walls after a few meters of driving.

Safety car was deployed and comes into the pits at the end of last lap as Jenson Button wins the Grand Prix in Albert Park, Melbourne, Australia without any mistakes.

Rubens Barrichello finished a lucky second, along with three drivers who started at the back of the grid, Trulli (P3) from Toyota, Hamilton (P4) of Mclaren and Timo Glock (P5) from Toyota.

As a conclusion to the race, like most of the drivers expected, KERS is extremely useful during overtaking. We’ll definitely be looking at more cars with KERS in Malaysia.

Formula 1 Qualifying session 2009 started out in Melbourne, Australia with a blast! Every qualifying sessions was breathtaking. In the end of the day, Brawn GP savoured their first and second with only 1 second separating them from 10th place, Mark Webber.

Albert Park Qualifying 1

Never once in formula 1 where every teams were restless in qualifying 1. Even Mclarens and Ferraris were restless, in fact, they were struggling. The only team that is not struggling this weekend is Brawn GP.

Both STR Ferrari and Force India along with rookie Sebastian Buemi failed to advance to Q2. Lewis Hamilton struggled pass Q1 but had reported to have a gear problem in Q2.

Albert Park Qualifying 2

As Lewis had retired from the qualifying, the other 14 runners fight for the first position. Until a point where the first 9 runners were only 0.2 seconds apart! This is how competitive every team is.

Both the Mclaren Mercedes did not pass through Q2. Surprisingly Fernando Alonso did not advance to Q1 despite the confident talks last week. Kazuki Nakajima failed to advance as well.

The weird thing is Nick Heldfeld, the only BMW Sauber that is mounted with KERS, did not pass through as well. Does that mean that KERS fitted engines were outperformed by cars without KERS?

Albert Park Qualifying 3

The pole shootout was superb. Both the Brawn GPs were on their league of their own. Jenson Button will be starting from pole position with his 1.26.202 qualifying time alongside with his teammate Rubens Barrichello, just 0.3 away.

Racing genius Sebastian Vettel will be starting at 3rd position followed by Kubica, Rosberg, Glock.

The Ferraris will start at 7th and 9th position with Jarno Trulli in the middle. Australian favourite Mark Webber will be starting at 10th position.

The chart has been overturned. Midfielders in 2008 are now up front and front runners 2008 will stuck in midfield in Melbourn GP. Tomorrow’s race at 5PM local time will be extremely interesting.

Update #1: Unfortunately for the reigning champion Lewis Hamilton, he has been dropped back 5 places. His gear box failed this evening and he will be starting at 20th place at the end of the grid.

Update #2: After the post-qualifying inspection, both the Toyota F1 cars were found to have some sort of “degree of freedom” with their aerofoils on the spoiler. Thus both Timo Glock and Jarno Trulli will be at 19th and 20th position. Hamilton has been pushed up to 18th from the grid. I guess this is what Martin Whitmarsh calls it “Damage limitation”.

KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System), a system implemented this year (2009) that enables a Formula 1 cars to store energy whilst underbraking and can produce up to 80 horsepower for 6.6 seconds every lap in a press of a button.

The teams spend the 2008 winter building and testing their KERS system in their Formula 1 cars but how many teams will show up with KERS?

BMW Sauber will have Nick Heidfeld drive with KERS in Melbourne because he’s an extremely light person (58kg) and is able to balance in the car even with the extra KERS weight. Robert Kubica will not benefit from the extra 80 horsepower (for 6.6 seconds) in Australia because of his gigantic size compared to Heidfeld.

Other teams think their not-enough-research KERS would only make very little difference to the time due to the extra weight of the system. They also claimed that KERS is expensive and unsafe and still need more testing to finalize it.

I’m never a big fan of Daylight Savings Time(DST) and I’m extremely delighted that the end of DST in Sydney is coming as I type this article. However, this article is about the change of DST Australia so that the rest of the Australian population can take note of the changes of Daylight Savings Time as well.

This article is about the date and time of Daylight Savings Time will be changing in Australia for year 2009, 2010 and 2011 for all the states.
Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria observe and follow the same daylight savings time each year. This year, without any changes the DST is as follows:

Start

End

5 October 2008

5 April 2009

4 October 2009

4 April 2010

3 October 2010

3 April 2011

Time for the change of Daylight Savings Time is all 2AM local time in the morning

For Tasmania, starting from 2008 they have also standardized their DST time with all the states above. Hence, they will also follow the timetable stated above.

However, for Western Australia, they have been given a 3 years probation period to see if Australians living in the western part of Australia likes Daylight Savings or not. The trial period starts at 3rd of 2006 and ends at this coming 29th March 2009 at 3AM local time in the morning.

The states of Queensland and Northern Territory does not participate in any Daylight Savings Time activities, thus their time remains constand and unchanged throughout the year.

For the time being I’m still very unhappy with Daylight Savings in NSW but it doesn’t change the fact that DST improves the quality of life in NSW because morning starts later and evening lasts longer.

Imagine if there’s no DST in Sydney, in the summer the sun rises at 4:30AM and sets at 7PM. I certainly don’t want to spend 4 hours of my time sleeping under the burning hot sun. Assuming I sleep until 8:30 AM everyday. I guess “live with it” is the right word to use here.

Top Gear is a motor vehicle TV show originated from Great Britain presented (current) by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May and The Stig. The show would usually start off with some super car reviews and the cool board (on occasions) followed by a first half of some competition. After that, a star will be invited to drive their “reasonably priced car” and end the show after the completion of their competitions and the results.
All 3 hosts (Jeremy, Richard and James) present Top Gear in a very humorous way. Nothing too “physics” and understandable even to aliens. The hosts have their own original and funny characteristics:

Jeremy Clarkson - Acts like a 6 year old and doesn’t seems to give a damn about anything.
Richard Hammond - Much matured compared to Jeremy but funny in a very unique way.
James May - Very “physicist” and is afraid of speed AKA “Captain Slow”.
The Stig - Some say he now wears white racing suit because he was forced by BBC to be baptized.

Top Gear also introduces crazy stunts including blowing up vehicles, optimistically shooting up vehicles hoping it would pass the atmosphere and Richard Hammond’s near crash death.

Top Gear has been extremely popular around the globe has led to the formation of Top Gear Australia, debuted on Monday 29 September, presented by Charlie Cox (an ex-racer), Steve Pizzati (a driving instructor) and Warren Brown (a cartoonist and motoring journalist). The Stig however, is not credited as a presenter in the Australian series and was nearly named “Stiggo” or “Stiggy the Bush Kangaroo” in the first episode … How Australian can they be?

What’s the Difference?

1. There is a slight change in the sequence of the show. Instead of having a cool wall, Top Gear Australia had a “What were they thinking” wall which they go criticizing away about vehicle manufacturer’s mistakes. It’s something new, I like it but it’s going to fail if the hosts continue to act like somebody else.

2. Like I said earlier Top Gear is presented in a funny way. In Top Gear Australia however, there’s the lack of connection between all three hosts. As they talk, the crowd would be quiet. Most of the time their joke doesn’t seems to work. I guess most of you who watches both Top Gear and Top Gear Australia would realize that this has something to do with the hosts.

3. The hosts. From what I have observed so far, Steve Pizzati is the best, he seems to know what he’s talking and crack jokes … sometimes. His challenge – escaping in a Subaru WRX STI in a search and destroy mission by a military helicopter amazes me.

Warren Brown who acts like James and Richard by being slow and nearly got killed most of the time, but he’s quite entertaining as he nearly got killed by a shark and his little comics seems to tell a thousand words.

The worst would be Charlie Cox. I have no idea what’s wrong with him, he seems to be on a tight schedule or something. In his review of the Porsche Carerra 911S PDK, it was boring and it looks like he was just reading the specifications out from the brochure. His views about the car – none, his passion – none, he’s … a waste of time.

4. Reasonably priced car, a Proton Satria Neo. I don’t feel like commenting on this one, God please help me.

5. Then we have the Top Gear Australia track at Camden Airport that’s relatively short and … sometimes I can’t see where The Stig’s Australian Cousin is driving. Most of the camera aims at The Stig while he’s in the car and I guess there’s only about a total of 10 seconds of Proton Satria Neo airtime. Maybe it’s the car … but if it’s the car then they should not have chosen a Proton as their reasonably priced car!

For now Top Gear Australia can be summed up with just a word … BORING. As a viewer, sometimes I can sense this feeling that all three of them are in a conversation talking different things. It’s not very obvious but my mind certainly tells me there’s something wrong.

Look, I’m not criticizing the Australians, but Top Gear Australia wouldn’t last long with its current state. Even the statistics had explained that.

In a nutshell, I’ll tell you what most of us are thinking about Top Gear Australia. Most of us would be thinking “If Top Gear Australia would be so much alike to Top Gear (UK) minus the funny jokes, why bother spending an hour watching Top Gear Australia?”

That would give some heads up to SBS.
I appreciate any comments, advices, and complaints that you might have.

What is daylight saving time (DST)? Why do we need DST in 4 season countries?

I’m quite surprised how many people have no idea what daylight saving time (DST) is. Especially some of those who are from my MSN. Well this post is specially for all of you who have no idea what daylight saving time is.

First lets talk about some normal weather changes in a country that has 4 seasons. During autumn and winter, day time is less than night time. While during spring and summer, day time is more than night time. Thus the sun shines earlier in the morning during spring and summer and sets later in the evening too.

The main reason for DST is to take advantage of the sunlights during the day so that we have more daytime. To do that, areas which are affected by DST will adjust their time an hour faster during the summer and adjust it back during the autumn.

I will not go into it’s history or it’s origin bla bla bla. Normal citizens like us just need to know, during daylight saving time, night comes later in the evening so we have time plan activities during the evening.

However, I think DST is just a pain in the ass. Now I can’t talk to Malaysian girls to late night anymore, because I will lose extra 1 hour of sleep. And Formula 1 will start an hour later as well. Farmers are affected, bill payments are messed up, plans, everything ARE SCREWED UP.

I sure hope New South Wales government would be as clever as Queensland government, stating that cows will get confused by the daylight saving time.

If only governments were clever …
